Fabric Sculpting - Standing African Lady - With Erna Honeyman

  • Moosomin Visual Arts Centre 701 Ellice Street Moosomin, SK, S0G 3N0 Canada (map)

Fabric is pliable, right? So how can a person sculpt with it? Yes, it can be done (and I’m thinking starch is not used), and Erna Honeyman is the person to show you how it can be accomplished. This class is a short class of 2 - 3 hours. It gives participants the idea of perhaps further exploration of fabric sculpting!

All materials are supplied for this class.

Minimum of 6 participants.

Participants must be 18 years of age or older.

Each person requires about 3’ working space. While aprons will be provided, it is NOT recommended that you wear your best clothes! You are going to be getting dirty 😲!

ABOUT THE ARTIST - ERNA HONEYMAN

I've had an interest in fabric sculpting for past eight years, offering variety of workshops from beginner sculptures to larger pieces such as herons. All sculptures can withstand our Canadian outdoor elements. I have participated in a number of exhibitions, a juried art show, sculptures on regular display at Lagasse's Studio of Fine Arts in Souris, Mb and in the summers at Wasagaming Community Arts at Clear Lake, Mb. I have also done a number of commissioned pieces!
