Like our previous Make 2/Take 1 Events, you make two articles of the craft but you only take one of them home with you; the other one you donate back to the Moosomin Visual Arts Centre to sell at their Christmas Market on November 2nd. For our third Make 2/Take 1, join Melissa Magnusson as she leads us in the creation of a Mrs. Claus tree ornament. This would be a cute addition to any Christmas tree!

Ages 12 and up.

All supplies are provided.

This craft uses a little sewing and a hot glue gun for assembly.

Space is limited to 8 participants.

About the artist:

Melissa is a retired educator who has been creating and following her artistic side for most of her life. She enjoys crafting, tatting, painting, sketching and creating in general. When it is in season (or close to season), you can find Melissa tending her plants, preparing for the garden or harvesting the produce from the garden. In between that and her part-time job, she spends her time running after her kids and their significant others; they range in age from 13 to 25 and they're never too old to need mom for something!
