This beginners watercolour course will include 5 classes (January 22, 29, February 5, 12 and 19) and is intended to be an introduction to a variety of techniques, skill and tips to increase working knowledge of the watercolour medium. In each class the participants will learn a new technique/skill, practice the technique and then use those skills in a small painting. Skills will be built upon each week. Watercolour is not scary. Will you be an expert once you complete the course? You never know - but likely not . It just takes time and practice so let's get started on this delightful watercolour journey!

Ages 16+

Participants will be given a list of supplies from the instructor once they have registered. Some supplies will be provided by the instructor.

ABOUT THE ARTIST:

Jacqui has been painting with watercolour for several years and now wishes to share her joy of this medium with others. Her interest in watercolour started 30 or so years ago when she took a beginning watercolour class from Darlene Strong of Rocanville. The watercolour medium has captured her ever since. Jacqui creates in a variety of mediums including acrylic, soft pastel, coloured pencils and pottery, but always returns to the fascinating medium of watercolour!
