ABOUT THE ARTIST:

My name is Chelsea Doane and I’m from Moosomin. I have been making macrame creations for about 6 years. I was a stay at home mom at that time and chose to try macrame as a creative outlet for myself. I bought some rope and started trying it! I have since made a wide variety of macrame art - plant hangers, keychains, all types of wall art - big and small! I have taught a few classes at the Moosomin Visual Arts Centre and I am excited to teach more!
