Who doesn’t want more time working on the pottery wheel? Terry Grant of ClaymanStudios - Moosomin is back again offering anyone who has taken the pottery wheel basics class a chance to level up!!
This four week workshop will focus on further development of wheel throwing skills, trimming, glazing and pottery firing principles. This is the class for those that have taken a basic throwing class and are interested in advancing your skills in a fun, encouraging class atmosphere!
Prerequisite: You must have taken a basic pottery wheel class to enroll in this class.
ABOUT THE ARTIST:
Terry's art journey has so many faceted sides. He has tried his hand at many different art forms and his portfolio is ever expanding. Terry has worked with metal during silversmithing crafting with silver and copper , leather as he has made homemade leather goods, cake decorating with his wife Jen, glass as he has tried glass blowing and took numerous stained glass classes and fell in love with the process, water while he created wonderful water colours and played with shading and textures, words as he stumbled upon the joy of weaving them into poetry and has even found himself published, now he has turned his talents to clay. His pottery can be found in the town of Moosomin and he is continuing to hone his craft.
