Have you ever wanted to can or preserve your garden produce (or other foods) but were not sure how to do it safely? This is just the class for you . . . learn how to do pressure canning with Melissa Thiessen. This class is the second class Melissa is leading for us. Considering it’s harvest season, now is the time to learn and apply those canning skills!
Participants must be 10+ years of age.
Maximum 7 participants.
Bring your own apron. All other materials are supplied.

A BIT ABOUT OUR PRESENTER:
Melissa loves to garden and preserve food. She taught water bath and pressure canning classes in Maryfield two years ago and loves to teach others how to reduce food waste and create budget friendly alternatives for the kitchen. She also sells her canning at farmers markets in south east Saskatchewan in the summer.
